Dear Community Member/Business Leader:
Will County Take Back the Night’s steering committee invites
you to join us as we work to end some men’s violence against
women.
This year’s Will County Take Back the Night 14th annual
vigil and march will take place Thursday, October 14, 2010
at the University of St. Francis, 500 Wilcox Street in
Joliet. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.
At this vigil, we will solemnly honor more than 50 women
victims, their minor children and other female children who
were murdered in Will County over the last 10 years. We will
also honor those women who have survived. As always, we will
have information from local agencies and TBTN items will be
available for purchase as well.

2010 Sponsorship Form Here >>
Please contribute to Take Back the Night through a
sponsorship. We understand that these are hard times for
all, but agencies receiving these monies have been hit even
harder with many of their grants on hold and even terminated
due to the lack of federal and state funds. By sponsoring
this event, you will help make a difference in the lives of
many by providing support to local agencies that work on
behalf of victims.
Another way you can help is to post our event’s information
on your marquee or hang a poster in your workplace
announcing the event. For more information about other ways
you can lend support, contact Lora McGuire at 815-725-6847.
